Pramacare Training
Pramacare is committed to providing the highest standard of care. We have qualified trainers and NVQ assessors and all our Care Attendants complete induction training to National Care Legislation Standards. Pramacare also provides ongoing training and development giving the knowledge and skills for our Care Attendants to practice at the highest standard.
Foundation courses include:
- Health & safety
- Infection control
- Communication
- Dealing with difficult people
- Values & code of practice
- Dealing with emergency situations
- Dealing with medication
Other courses include topics that relate to specific client needs. For example:
- Dementia & Alzheimers
- Parkinson's disease
- Heart & kidney failure
- Multiple sclerosis
- Care plans & report writing
Pramacare also offers a number of training courses, which are delivered by specialist trainers and professionals. These include:
- Introduction to care
- First aid
- Food hygiene
- Palliative care
