Pramacare’s general manager is putting muscle into fundraising
07/08/2008 - Ian Collier, general manager of local home care charity, Pramacare, is putting some muscle behind the charity's fundraising by doing a sponsored cycle ride. On August 21st Ian will be setting off from Pramacare's offices in Holes Bay, Poole and taking a 63 mile route around the charity's 4 shops in Verwood, Ferndown, Tuckton and Canford Heath as well as the towns where it provides care - Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wareham and Wimborne.
Ian explains: "Last year Pramacare gave over £160,000 in care fee subsidy to local people, who we support with help and care at home. We aim to raise £3000 each week and I'm lending my support by doing a sponsored cycle." He adds "I chose 63 miles, one for each of my years!"
Those wishing to support Ian's cycle ride and help support local people who need help and care at home can call 01202 207310 to make a donation.
