Pramacare appoints new fundraising manager
22/05/2008 - Maurene Wilson has joined local home care charity, Pramacare, as fundraising manager in charge of its 4 charity shops and fundraising team. She brings a wealth of experience in fundraising and grant applications with previous experience including capital campaigns at famous heritage sites.
"The need for help in the home, be it housework, shopping or physical care, is huge." Maurene explains: "Last year Pramacare gave over £160,000 in care fee subsidy to local people, who we support with help and care at home. To meet the ongoing challenge we must continually raise funds so that we can help as many people as possible."
The Pramacare Care Team provides over 2000 hours of care each week to people in Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset.
