Recycle mobile phones & raise funds
19/12/2007 -
Local home care charity Pramacare is asking for your old mobile phones and computer ink cartridges to help raise funds for people in our area who need home care services. On Christmas day the charity will provide 150 hours of care to local people and for many their Pramacare Care Attendant will be the only person that they see over the festive season.
"Mobile phones are popular Christmas gifts," says fundraiser Fiona Julian. "So we're asking people to donate their old phones to help support subsidised care fees, which will be used to help people remain living independently in their own homes."
Fiona adds: "Old phones and even computer ink cartridges can be taken to Pramacare's charity shops in Winton, Verwood, Ferndown, Tuckton or Canford Heath where FREEPOST recycling bags are available. Alternatively call 01202 599199 and request a freepost bag."
