Trainer wins award for outstanding commitment

Theresa Lester has just won an award for outstanding commitment to NVQ training in the care industry. Theresa, who is part of a team of 4 trainers at local home care charity Pramacare, was presented the award by W&P Training at their annual celebration and awards evening.
When asked what she loves about her job Theresa said: "Seeing the carer achieve and reaching their potential".
Theresa qualified as an NVQ assessor in 1995 and has helped many carers through the NVQ process. Under the national care standards act 50% of Pramacare carers will be working toward NVQ level 2 in care by 2008.
