Uni students donate over £1,500
14/06/2007 -
Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Bournemouth Students' Union local charity Pramacare has been given a donation of over £1,500. The monies raised will be used to give care fee subsidies to local people who are on reduced incomes and who receive home care from Pramacare.
The cheque was presented to Pramacare's Human Resources Manager, Jane Taylor, at an Oscar style ceremony. Jane explains, "The need Pramacare was founded to meet, when it started 25 years ago, continues to grow each year. It was so encouraging that the students recognised this need and chose to give their support to the people that Pramacare helps."
