Pramacare shares its vision in a new DVD

This year Pramacare celebrates 25 years as a home care provider serving people in East Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth. From a handful of dedicated volunteers in 1982 the charity has grown to employ over 200 trained care attendants. To bring supporters and prospective new care attendants up-to-date with Pramacare’s vision and work the charity has produced a 7-minute film in conjunction with Bournemouth YMCA.
“People viewing the film will be able to make a visit to one of our clients with a care attendant”, explains Pramacare’s General Manager Ian Collier. “They’ll visit our care centre from where over 2000 hours of care are co-ordinated each week and they’ll be able to see part of our care attendant training programme.”
The need for care in the home, be it physical care or help with housework or shopping is ever growing. As Pramacare moves forward to face the increasing challenges of providing care it invites the community to share its vision and mission.
