Pramacare joins the 'Give it up for Charity Challenge'
26/09/2006 -
Pramacare is now selling the more unusual and collectable items that have been donated to its charity shops over the Internet via eBay. The charity is asking for your support during the 'Give it up for Charity Challenge' this October, an event running in conjunction with CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) and eBay. The challenge is to encourage individuals selling goods on eBay to donate a percentage of sales to charity. Through-out October eBay will track how much money charities and their supporters raise and then award prizes for those with the most supporters and those selling the most unusual items.
It's easy to get involved, just enter the item that you have for sale on eBay and where you have an option to select a charity nominate Pramacare. This could mean donating anything between 10 and 100% of your sale. The item that you're selling will be tagged with a ribbon, so that buyers can see your charity support. In addition Missionfish, the charity arm of eBay, will reclaim any Gift Aid on your donation as well as donating a percentage of your seller's commission fees to your chosen charity.
To see the items currently on sale log on to
