New CEO for Pramacare

Pramacare has appointed Jeff Russell as its new CEO. Jeff comes from a background of managing home care, day care and residential services within local government over the last thirty years. He has also been involved in setting up several Christian charities working with rough sleepers, carers and other vulnerable groups.
Jeff explains; "I trained as a social worker and have always had a very practical approach to helping people. I'm delighted to be taking on this new role with Pramacare. My vision for the charity is to build on its existing strengths and services by growing and developing its links with like-minded groups."
Among the innovations that Jeff is launching is a Client Forum, where people that Pramacare supports are able to input their views and ideas about the services being provided. He is also developing an Intern Programme for students, who may want to gain experience in social care or business disciplines such as fundraising or marketing.
Jeff says; "As a local charity it's encouraging to have the ongoing support from the community. We want Pramacare to get involved in more partnership projects where we can offer our professional training and expertise. For example a church may want to start a day centre or a lunch club. Pramacare has a wealth of professional skill in all types of care and I invite people to contact me, if they have suggestions for projects that we could work on together."
