Fair Care Fees

Pramacare’s charity commitment means that no client will pay more than the actual cost of providing the care services that they receive. Thanks to ongoing fundraising in our shops, organised events and donations from our supporters, Pramacare subsidises the cost of the care it provides to many of its private clients.

We want to be able to help as many people as possible, but for each new client Pramacare supports the more subsidy funds are required. As a response to the increasing need for care a Fair Care Fee policy has been introduced. The Fair Care Fee is a three-tier subsidy system and will further support individuals on a reduced income.

For more information about Fair Care Fees contact your local Care Co-ordinator or call the Care Centre on 01202 207321.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Fair Care Fee mean for me?
This is your opportunity to review current subsidies provided by both the Government and Pramacare. You may be eligible for additional support. Whatever the outcome you will not be charged more than the actual cost of providing the care you receive.

How do I apply for a subsidy?
Simply contact Pramacare and we will arrange for an assessment to be made. Alternatively you can ask the person who normally looks after your Pramacare bill to make arrangements on your behalf.

Will the information I provide be confidential?
Yes, all information that you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence. Pramacare is bound by a confidentiality and code of practice agreement, which applies to all our dealings with every client.

Thank you for looking after my husband whilst I was away on holiday. The break has done me a lot of good and wouldn’t have been possible without you.
